Pet of the Month - In the Limelight! at Cloquet Animal Hospital

We lost our dog to cancer about a year ago. He was our best friend and constant companion. "We'll never get another dog" we told ourselves over and over again. "It's just too hard to say goodbye. Besides, they are so much work and we travel too much." But a few months ago, our daughter told us about a schnauzer puppy who needed a home. She sent us a picture of the adorable puppy and we agreed to take her home. The first time we met her, we knew Molly was special. She jumped in my lap and just lay there with a look on her face that said "Aren't you going to pet me?". We have had Molly for about two months now and can't imagine life without her. We had forgotten what it was like to come home after a long day and be greeted at the door with the eagerness of a puppy. Or to have the little fuzzy body lay at my feet when I take a nap on the couch. Our daughter laughs because when she calls us, our entire conversation revolves around Molly, the dog we didn't know we wanted. She has added so much enjoyment to our lives.
